"Open Door" Policy
We operate an open door policy at Staincliffe Junior School
How does this work?
If you have a concern about your child or a question about school, learning or anything else, you should ask to see your child’s class teacher at the end of the school day, in the first instance.
It can sometimes be difficult for class teachers to see you in the morning as they are busy with children and starting the learning on time. Most teachers will be available after school.
Your child’s class teacher should be the first point of contact as they know your child best. If any issues can’t be resolved by the class teacher, then the Phase/Year Group Leader is the next stage, followed by Mrs Tankard, Miss Bennett and then Mr Dixon.
A phone call or email is useful to inform school of the nature of the conversation that is needed, and a mutually agreeable time will be arranged for a phone call back or a meeting with the most appropriate member of staff.
Staff and Senior Leaders are always visible at the beginning and end of the day on either of the main gates into school, should you wish to talk to us.
