Pakistan Flood Relief

As is our ethos here at Staincliffe to help those in need, we will be doing a joint fundraiser on Friday 4th November
Over the summer, we were all shocked to see and hear about the devastating floods that hit Pakistan.
One third of the country – an area almost the size of the UK – has been submerged, destroying more than a million homes and leaving many people homeless and exposed to the elements. 33 million people, including 16 million children have been affected, who urgently need our help.
As is our ethos here at Staincliffe to help those in need, we will be doing a joint fundraiser on Friday 4th November, which will aim to help those affected by the devastating floods, as well as helping boost school funds that will have a positive impact on the experiences of our own children.
A reminder that our The plan is for children to raise money through a sponsored walk. Each class will be given a half-hour time slot and each child will be challenged to complete as many circuits of the school playground (on the daily mile track) as they can in that time. For each circuit they complete they will be given a ‘stamp’ on their personal card so that they will know how many laps they have completed.
