Last half term, Year 5 were learning about charity and supporting others in their PSHE unit and with what has happened over half term in Ukraine, they've come back to school wanting to put theory into practice and help, which is absolutely fantastic.

On Thursday 17th March (next week) Year 5 pupil’s will set up an enterprise activity and will be selling sweets, ice-creams, popcorn etc - all in the themed colours of blue and yellow of the Ukrainian flag (which also just so happens to be our school colours!). All the children in school are invited to bring in some money and will be given a time slot in the day to make sure there’s enough items for everyone who wishes to buy something. All money raised will be sent to the British Red Cross, who are supporting those families most in need in the Ukraine.

A letter with all the finer details, including allergy information, will be out on Monday.
